Joint Service at MaudSunday 29-06-2008
David Wilson from Care for the Family spoke at our joint service with Maud,we learned how we can care as congregations in all kinds of family situations. A large congregation from the two churches worshipped together, with praise led by the St Kanes Worship Group and a debut from the puppets ministry who encouraged us to 'Tell God About It'
Several elders from Maud and Savoch Church received long service awards, and Alistair Parrott received a gift on his retiral from and in recognition of his long service as Maud Church Treasurer.

Marie Curie Coffee MorningFriday 27-06-2008
Some of the men of the church served at the coffee/tea morning in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Some even wore their kilts! and a competition to guess the weight of the kilt wearing men contributed to the sum of over £350 raised this morning. Church Picnic to ElginMonday 23-06-2008
On Saturday 21st June a group of over 30 adults and young people boarded a bus to go to Inverurie station to catch the train to Elgin. We just about filled the carriage as members and friends from St Kanes boarded the 9.48 train.
On arriving in Elgin, there was 11/2 hours free time, before everyone met in the Cooper Park to have their picnic. It was a lovely sunny day, and we found a really sheltered spot (away from a cool wind) to sit. National GatheringThursday 15-05-2008
Five of our members attended the National Gathering at Ingliston Showground Edinburgh, on 2nd 3rd of May. This event was organised by The Church of Scotland, and the idea was that Congregations would buy tents to tell the story of their church, and after the event the tents would be donated to Blytheswood for use in 3rd world countries. There were almost 200 tents there, and it was wonderful to see so many Christians of all ages both manning the tents and visiting the event.

5th Birthday PartyFriday 28-03-2008
A good number of people came along to The Centre's 5th birthday party and dance. We had a small number of entries in the Easter Bonnet competition, but a lot of fun was had by all who joined in the dances and games.The cake was cut by the oldest and youngest members present at the dance.

New Year LunchTuesday 01-01-2008
Thirty Three people came along to New Years Lunch in the cafe, this was provided for singles and couples who were going to be on their own for lunch. Thanks Anne for cooking for everyone.
