Hogmanay Family CeilidhMonday 31-12-2007
Over 100 people attended our Hogmanay Family Ceilidh, a great time was had by all. We danced and had games. Everyone brought their own non alcohlic drinks and nibbles and we served stovies during the evening. Alistair read us a passage from the Bible and prayed for the New Year just as it was coming in.

Rock Solid CeilidhTuesday 11-12-2007
Almost 40 people attended our St Andrews Ceilidh in the Church Centre.It was a really good evening starting over with stovies, puddings and shortbread and biscuits, followed by our family ceilidh. Everyone enjoyed the evening and we raised £170 towards our residential next year.

Panto!Tuesday 11-12-2007
Last night over 100 adults and children attended the 'Dame Game' Panto in the Church Centre. We all had a great time, and finished the evening with food and pass the parcel. We had the Christmas Story given to us all before we started the game.

Boys Brigade Kept Busy!Tuesday 11-12-2007
Boys Brigade Quiz and Coffee Morning
The weekend of 23rd and 24th November was a very busy one for members of the BBs. On Friday night they held a family quiz and several of 4 took part. Everyone had a lot of fun with perhaps the most popular round being the TV nand Cinema where the boys acted out the film/TV clips as questions. Saturday morning they held a coffee morning which was well attended. Over the 2 events more than £400 was raised towards funds.

Church Family Weekend AwayTuesday 30-10-2007
On Friday 12th October over 20 people from St Kanes and Maud & Savoch Churches set off for the Cairngorm Christian Centre at Kincraig. We all arrived in time for our first meal together at 8.30pm, which was followed by a time of worship and an introduction to the bible study. We had been joined by Rev David (Davie) Moore from Kilkenny in Ireland, and he led our times of Bible Study, he took us through Marks Gospel. Harvest ThanksgivingMonday 01-10-2007
Yesterday all the organisations joined the congregation for the Harvest Thanksgiving Service and the B.B. Dedication.The boys had marched down from the school with a couple of them playing the drums.

RS & RS2 Residential to ArbroathSaturday 01-09-2007
Once again we headed off down to Arbroath Windmill Christian Centre,leaving on 15th July and returning 20th. We had a good week with 16 young people and 8 leaders. While we were down we studied how the Bible is made up, working on the Old then New testamant, and on then we studied how we can all have Freedom through Jesus. We also did crafts, working on mirror tiles, and we designed and made banners, then we also did flower arranging!. RS2, Rock Solid, and Sunday Club Launch their new Sessions!Sunday 26-08-2007
Today RS2 and Rock Solid opened their new session with a joint fun day when the two groups met together and during the morning made the biggest banana splits! We had a good morning with 18 members enjoying soup and sweet afterwards and also bouncing on the bouncy castle in the manse garden.
