Rock Solid ResidentialSaturday 13-08-2011
We had our annual residential at Kincraig again this year, 15 of us enjoyed a very special time together. Since most of the group were older we were able to have lots of discussions on where to we go from here, looking at how we should behave and the relevance of the Bible in all that we do. We spent some time at Loch Insh, Aviemore - where we were able to take part in the Peoples Bible, and also at Landmark. Thanks to all the leaders and helpers!

Holiday ClubSaturday 13-08-2011
Over 50 youngsters from New Deer and the surrounding area enjoyed the week long holiday club - with crafts, singing, bible stories and lots of games. The theme this year was Space and Andy Burns came up from Dundee once again to lead, with Caroline and Fiona organising lots of crafts etc. We finished the week with fun time in the Manse garden with everyone getting soaked in the games and on the water slide - but lots of fun was had. New Deer ShowSunday 24-07-2011
Last weekend we had a stand at New Deer show, it was well supported with visitors coming in to see what we do in our church and centre. We aslo supplied free refreshments and sweets to the children. Thanks to Mel for organising the stand for the whole weekend. On Sunday our puppeteers gave a performance in the main marquee to around 40 people ,- the puppets sang and danced to 3 Modern Christian songs and were well received.

Anchor Boy and BB parent nightsTuesday 17-05-2011
Last Monday - 9th May - saw the parent night for our Anchor Boy section.Pastor Paul led 'devotions' then we were treated to some marching skills, tidy folding of jumper skills! and a typical Anchor Boy game, which everyone enjoyed. Well done to all the boys for being very well turned out and for taking part in such an enthusiastic way.Prizegiving was at the end of the evening. Thanks to all the officers and leaders for all the hard work and effort in keeping the boys busy and interested!

Easter Service - BB AwardsTuesday 26-04-2011
On Sunday over 30 people gathered at Culsh Monument for the annual Sonrise Service, we were led by Ian and Ben and then had breakfast in the Mustard Seed Cafe
The Morning Service was held in the Church. There was a big congregation gathered to celebrate the Risen Lord. The youth praise Band sang Happy Day, and afterwards there was a presentation of 1 Presidents Badge and 2 Silver D of E and Queens Badges by The Lord Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire James Ingleby. Well done Boys!
